Getting lost in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects is a favorite pastime of mine. Below are some examples of what happens following an afternoon in these programs! Also, in case you didn't notice, all artwork used in headers or icons on this website was also designed by me!

Meet You Halfway
I have been fortunate to meet some truly incredible people from around the world in my time spent online, and getting together to watch movies or play games has really meant a lot to me. So, when I decided to bring these individuals together into a group, I came up with "Midway". Based on iconography relating to the decisive Battle of Midway during WW2, our group serves as a "Mid-way" location for people the world over. Major representation within the group dictated the choice of flags from the US, EU, and Australia.

Midway Logo
This is the logo for my Discord server, Midway! I made it to showcase how our members are from a wide variety of places, including the UK, EU, and even Australia! This icon takes the iconography from the previous image and expands on it, while also making it more compact. Ultimately, this logo is meant to be viewed in lower fidelity, and highlights my ability to work "small" but still remain relatively detailed.

The Benefits of Hobbies
Created for a Motion Design course while at the Digital Worlds Institute at UF, this short animation had some pretty strict requirements that I believe showcase my flexibility. The project had to be under 30 seconds, yet use 2 cited sources to legitimize a claim. I chose to talk on the benefits of having hobbies, as I have several and am quite passionate about them. Overall, I found this to be a fun exercise as I tried to keep everything dynamic, but still within the confines of the assignment.

Motion Design Introduction
Made as an introduction for my Motion Design class, this was also my first time using After Effects! The requirements were very strict, necessitating the short time frame. I created all of the graphics in Illustrator, before animating them in After Effects. I find this to be a good example of my adaptability, as I was able to not only learn a new program in a week, but also produce a nice portfolio piece!
